HGA Families, It is with great excitement and a deep sense of gratitude that I write to welcome you to the start of the new school year here at Home Gardens Academy. As your new principal, I feel incredibly fortunate to join such an amazing learning community, and I am eager to embark on this journey alongside you, our scholars, and our dedicated staff.

Our incredible team has been working diligently to ensure that everything is ready to welcome our scholars to the 2025–2026 school year. We have been preparing both the classrooms and our hearts to make this year one of growth, learning, and achievement. This school year is sure to be a great one, filled with countless opportunities for scholars to learn, explore, and thrive.

This year’s theme is a continuation of last year’s Level Up, with the addition of the Next Chapter theme. Our focus will remain on fostering academic excellence and supporting the well-being of each and every student. Specifically, we will continue to emphasize early literacy, Language Arts, and Math. Our teachers will work alongside students to engage in deep, meaningful learning across all content areas. We believe that when students are challenged and inspired academically, they build the foundation for future success, both in school and in life.

In addition to academics, we are deeply committed to creating an environment where our scholars feel safe, valued, and connected. We will work on building a sense of community and belonging, making sure every scholar feels supported as they grow both academically and emotionally. This year, we will focus on creating a school culture where all scholars feel empowered to take risks, ask questions, and achieve their fullest potential.

I am eager to get to know each of you as we work together to support the learning and well-being of our scholars. Strong partnerships between school and home are essential for student success, and I look forward to collaborating with you in the coming months. Together, we can ensure that our students have the best possible experience at school.
